COST:  $3850, and includes pick up from the Homer Airport, 6 nights double-occupancy lodging aboard a spacious luxury cruiser, all meals, guided transportation, small-group atmosphere of serious photographers, professional instruction, and optimum photographic opportunities with an emphasis on wildlife photography.

OBJECTIVES:  As usual obtaining great photos of wildlife and nature.  With primary focus on the brown bear behavior, action and interaction.  There will also be some opportunities for puffins and cliff nesters when we visit some of the nearby islands.  Of course how can you miss the scenery of this beautiful area.  for those of you who have traveled with me to Homer know how spectacular it is up there.  There is always the possibility for photographing whales and other surprises too.

WORKSHOP:  These weeklong photo workshops are highlighted with the Alaska Brown Bear.  We will cruise the Alaska Coastal Regions in search of the perfect photographic opportunities for Brown Bear, Wolves, Whales, Sea Otters, Sea Lions and Alaska's seabirds in addition to the spectacular Alaska scenery.  Working long days when the light is great Our instructors/guides will provide professional photo instruction as we show you all of the secret hiding places of Alaskan wildlife.  You can expect to see dozens of Brown Bears roaming freely while you photograph them without the crowds of sightseers and other photographers.  Pods of 40 to 60 humpback whales are not uncommon. 

LODGING:  Our 63-foot luxury motor cruiser features private double cabins and comfortable accommodations.  We anchor in remote, protected coves along the Alaskan coast between our daily treks ashore.
