BIRDS OF BOSQUE DEL APACHE IN NEW MEXICO.

Going to NANPA? Why not visit Bosque the weekend/week before? Join me for a weekend tour to one of the most talked about locations in the west and rightly so.

ON: 15 February-16 February 2003. The weekend before NANPA, why not turn it into a week long deal!

COST: $250.00 Includes Saturday meals and Sunday Brunch, and ground transportation if needed. It is best if you have your own ride but not necessary.

OBJECTIVES: During February there are still many photo opportunities for the wildlife photographer. We will capture the best Bosque has to offer that weekend. The snow geese and cranes will still be there, as well as the coyotes and other wildlife that are year round residents. We will be in the field before sunrise until after sunset. Lunch will be served up in the field. Sunday after sunset will end our trip. You will now know the refuge and how to shoot it best. From your car window, from other blinds or from foot, I will show you how to continue your work there. The techniques taught can easily be applied at other wildlife hotspots too. In other words I'll show you how I work.

WORKSHOP: We will meet early Saturday at the motel for orientation. Up early to refuge before sunrise. Spend the day shooting in the field. Dinner and slide show afterwards at motel site. Bring 10 images to share with the group also. Sunday morning more of the same. After sunset we will finish up the trip. Then I hope to see you at the NANPA conference. I'll be presenting a break out session about running a photo business while keeping your day job.

LODGING: In a nearby motel.
