Photo Tours 2005 Birds
and Babies-The Focus in '05
I am looking forward to traveling with you in 2005,
reconnecting with old friends and finding some new ones too. See below the
great lineup in '05. Click on any hyperlink for more information and sample pictures. 1)South Texas-April 3-7, 2005- Tons of Texas birds-raptors-Crested Caracara, Harris Hawk, beautiful birds and the Texas specialties will make this an incredible shoot. We’ll be staying at the Cozad Ranch for four days of great food, great lodging and incredible bird photography done from the blind set ups at the ranch. I just got back from a summer shoot down there and love the facilities and know you will too. This will be my third trip to south Texas and it is well worth many photo trips. The price includes four nights lodging, four days meals, evening critiques, and 4 full days of photography. All for only $1500!!!! 2)Captive Babies at Animals of Montana Game Farm- May 20-22, 2005 with the 23rd being our weather day (Memorial Weekend). I shot at Animals last winter and was very impressed with the trainer and the critters he has. This three day shoot will be focused on all his babies. Bears, Skunks, Raccoons, Fisher, Pine Marten, Coyote, Wolves, Mountain Lions, Badger, Fox, Lynx, Bobcat and I'm sure he'll get some others. We’ll stay in a motel in Bozeman and drive up to the ranch everyday. Three days of lunches, transportation and three days of shooting included. This will be an awesome session with lots of great critters to shoot. What a deal at $1500!!!! 3)Bald Eagle Nesting- 19-22 June 2005. We’ll head to the Aleutian Islands to shoot bald eagles nesting. I was up there the summer of '02 and am ready to head back. I will have my blind set up with great views into a nest with chicks. We’ll shoot around other nest sites and maybe even get some opportunities for feeding eagles. This is the eagle hotspot for nesting and action shots! I'm thinking about a four day session in the field for $800 which will include ground transportation, blinds and bald eagle guide. 4+)New addition Bears, Birds and More- July 3-9 or July 10-16. We'll head across the Cook Inlet from Homer, Alaska to spend the week shooting big brown bears. We'll spend the night aboard a beautiful luxury motor cruiser and find the best locations to work on the wildlife of the area. We will also visit a nearby nesting island with puffins, kittiwakes and other cliff nesters. While cruising we may find other surprises to shoot like whales, wolves and of course scenery. For $3850 you will get picked up at Homer airport and have 6 nights with food and all expenses taken care of aboard the yacht. At the conclusion of this great trip we will take you back to the airport and take great care of you. 5)The Pantanal-Just got back from the Pantanal at end of August and am telling you, it is awesome. July 31-August 12, 2005 will be the dates for this trip and the cost only $3600 which covers just about everything. Lodging, ground transportation, three square meals (drinks not included), great photo opps, guide, boat rides, private zoo day, tips and so much more. I am so excited, this is a great place for wildlife photography. Click on the link (blue words) to see some photos from my scouting trip August 2004. Birds, birds and more birds, like endangered hyacinth macaw, jabiru stork, lots of raptors feeding on crabs, capybara, giant river otter, howler monkeys, and caimen are virtually guaranteed with many other treats awaiting us down in Brazil. Only two people will be accompanying me on this trip, making it the best small group trip which improves your photos tremendously. 6)Winter predators at Animals of Montana-End December or early January.
